For the second year in a row the event takes place in the region within the cooperation of the company and the Trust Fund for Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). One hundred best teachers received awards of 100 thousand rubles. The award ceremony for winners was held at the House of the Government of the Republic.
The number of applications has increased by almost a third compared to last year. The competition was open to teachers of all education levels with at least three years of experience, who contributed significantly to the education of the region.
The participants were assessed by an independent commission. Among the defining criteria were high academic performance of students, personal achievements of the applicant, the use of modern teaching methods. Also, each category of teachers had additional evaluation criteria to increase the objectivity of the competition.
Timofey Egorov, Head of the RNG Representative Office in Yakutsk, and Nyurguna Sokolova, Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) presented diplomas to the winners.
