The company funded the purchase of special wheelchairs and walkers for severely ill children. In addition, a supply of special nutrition and supplies will be purchased for the foundation’s beneficiaries.
The non-profit organisation Home with a Lighthouse supports children’s hospices, and the foundation provides care for 800 patients with incurable diseases.
“It is very important for us now to build up a maximum stock of technical rehabilitation equipment, supplies and medicines. We would like to thank RNG JSC for its support during such a difficult period. The purchase of wheelchairs and orthopaedics will allow us to continue providing our children with everything they need during the year,” – said Elena Prokopyeva, Executive Director of the ‘Home with Lighthouse’ Charity Fund.
In addition to rehabilitation equipment, the foundation will purchase enteral nutrition (intended for children who cannot eat on their own), medical tracheostomies and gastrostomies that help children to breathe and eat.
“In tough times, it is the charity that remains the real support for the most vulnerable. We will continue to help the most fragile groups – severely ill children, orphans, and organisations that work with them. We review such requests on an individual basis as quickly as possible,” – commented Vladimir Rakitin, CEO of RNG JSC.
