The Siberian State Water Transport University Branch in Ust-Kut is one of the leading educational institutions for the training of fleet commanders and technicians for the operation of river vessels. In the course of its existence more than 9 000 specialists have graduated from the Institute. 516 students are currently studying at the institution.
“We thank RNG for the support provided. It will allow us to continue the work on attracting young people to our educational institution and increase the graduates’ employment in the Irkutsk region”, noted Evgeny Korolev, Acting Director of the Institute.
In addition, RNG plans to attract cadets as motormen during the navigation period in Ust-Kut in 2024.
