The company was presented with the letter of gratitude and three signed anniversary signs «100 years of the Yakut ASSR». The authorities thanked the company’s management and staff for their assistance in the sustainable development of the territories and the improvement of the republic population quality of life.
The award ceremony was organized as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Forum, which took place in Yakutsk. Kirill Bychkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), presented gratitudes and distinctions to company representatives that had made the most significant contribution to the socio-economic region potential. During the plenary session, he distinguished the importance of businesses in the region development.
“We must create the developing environment for our future generations, and it is highly important that companies understand and support this. The way we invest in the republic education and health today will determine what kind of it we will have in a couple of years,” said Kirill Bychkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Yakutia.
The investment in socio-economic region development is one of the main priorities of RNG JSC. The company, on a regular basis, supports initiatives in the fields of ecology, education and culture, actively participates in the republic infrastructure projects. In 2021, the company entered the top 5 in the ranking of social efficiency and social responsibility among oil and gas companies, according to AK&M agency.
