With the company’s support, the performance of Beyond Sin will be presented not only in St. Petersburg, as well as in other Russian cities.
“I am sincerely grateful to the management of RNG JSC for the support of the tour of St. Petersburg Eifman Ballet to the Urals and the opportunity to present to the audience the choreographic interpretation of the great novel “The Brothers Karamazov” – the performance “Beyond Sin”, in the year of celebration of the 200th anniversary of Dostoevsky”, commented Boris Eifman, the artistic director of the theatre.
The theatre’s next tour will take place in the Ural Federal District from 16 until 23 November in the following cities: Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Perm.
Gennady Alferenko, a member of RNG JSC Board of Directors, commented: “As part of its sponsorship activity, the company regularly supports large-scale cultural projects. We are pleased to provide the audience with an opportunity to enjoy this unique ballet. Plans for joint work include organising a tour of the theatre to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).”
Boris Eifman, the Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre is the People’s Artist of Russia, a laureate of the State Prize of Russia, the Golden Mask and the Golden Sofit prizes, a full Cavalier of the Order “For Services to the Fatherland”.
