At the new RNG landfill, thermal neutralization of solid household and industrial waste will be carried out during the operation of the Eastern Blocks of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field.
The area of the facility is 2.29 hectares, its capacity is 10 thousand tons per year, and the service life is 25 years. The landfill consists of a household area and plots for waste disposal and incineration. Reliable emission filtration systems and design features of waste storage areas minimize the negative impact on the atmosphere and landscape near the landfill.
RNG Chief Engineer Yevgeniy Cherykaev noted the important features of the technology used: “In the course of waste processing, waste is shredded and incinerated. After the smoke enters the steam jets, the combustion products remain in the installation, and only steam gets into the air. Thus, the negative impact on the environment is eliminated."
The new solid waste landfill is intended not only for the disposal of the company's own waste, but also for the needs of the Mirninsky district. RNG remains true to its principles and continues to conduct its business responsibly in cooperation with local officials. The head of the Mirninsky district Rishat Yuzmukhametov emphasized: “In our region, this is the first modern solid waste landfill that meets all environmental standards. In accordance with the federal program, we are carrying out a project of building a landfill for the city of Mirny, Chuoninsky nasleg and Almazny village. Thanks to RNG, a modern facility has already been built in our region, which will accept waste from Tas-Yuryakh village free of charge”.
During the design, engineering and survey works all the necessary environmental and sanitary requirements were met. The construction was carried out according to the latest standards, RNG specialists purchased certified equipment from trusted partners and ensured fire and emergency safety.
Agniya Simonova, head of Tas-Yuryakh village, is convinced that commissioning of the landfill will make the life of the local population more comfortable: “We are grateful to RNG for their help, this landfill is very important for the village. In the near future we will determine a place for storing the garbage, and together with our partners we will make a schedule for its removal for disposal."
Also, the management of RNG supported the initiative of local authorities to build a municipal landfill and allocated 8 million rubles for engineering and environmental surveys on the future facility.
